I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
